Cosmo Tech Joins Digital Twin Consortium

Paris, October 12, 2020

Cosmo Tech, a global software vendor of Simulation Digital Twins for industries including manufacturing, energy, utilities and mobility, has joined the newly formed Digital Twin Consortium.

The Digital Twin Consortium is an association of member companies that represent the world authority in digital twins. It coalesces industry, government and academia to drive consistency in vocabulary, architecture, security and interoperability of digital twin technology. It is also a global ecosystem of users who are accelerating the digital twin market and demonstrating the value of digital twin technology.

Cosmo Tech brings to the Consortium a digital twin simulation technology that is powered by a proprietary Complex Systems Modeling Language (CoSML). This language enables Cosmo Tech to simulate highly complex, heterogenous, and interconnected systems while integrating all dynamics and constraints. The resulting platform allows for the automatic generation of simulation engines and cuts digital twin development time by up to 90%.

“Cosmo Tech is a specialist in complex systems simulation software and digital twin technology. We bring a 360° view and dynamic simulation capabilities that can augment existing digital twins, and we build digital twins that deliver predictive and prescriptive analytics and are designed to be deployed at enterprise scale. We look forward to sharing our knowledge and expertise with other Consortium members, and learning from their experiences, too,” said Cosmo Tech co-founder and Executive Chairman Michel Morvan.

Cosmo Tech already serves enterprise clients in the manufacturing, utilities, energy, and mobility industries and anticipates that its collaboration with the Consortium will accelerate its access to new sectors. With the rapid convergence of simulation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) driving cross-industry interest in digital twin technologies, Cosmo Tech’s position in the consortium places the company on the global cutting edge.

“Joining the Consortium is an opportunity for Cosmo Tech to further develop our contribution to the rapidly expanding market for digital twins worldwide. We look forward to working closely with other members to augment digital twin solutions with our joint expertise and accelerate the adoption of this state-of-the-art technology to address the most pressing challenges in the world’s most critical industries,” said Cosmo Tech co-founder CEO Hugues de Bantel.

“Digital Twin Consortium is cultivating a highly diverse partner ecosystem to reduce the risk associated with implementing digital twin technology – improving interoperability, developing best practices, and influencing requirements for digital twin standards. Cosmo Tech is a welcome addition to the Consortium. Their experience and expertise in digital twin simulation will be very valuable to our members” said Dr. Richard Soley, Executive Director, Digital Twin Consortium.
